4th Annual Native American Festival

- Two Fun Days of Celebration -



Saturday and Sunday November 17th and 18th, 2007 We will be holding our 4th annual Native American Festival. - We are once again celebrating Thanksgiving with the Native American Indians of the Aztlan Nation.

The performers are descendants of the Mimbreno Apache Tribe, including young dancers and performers, including their spokesman Thomas "Eagle Bear" Shash.

We are also having a special performer by the name of Jerry "Eaglefeather" Mescalero playing apache flute music

The Event Includes :
- Traditional song and dance performances.
- Authentic story telling.
- Craft Making.
- Face Painting.
- Pony rides for the kids.
- Native American Flute Music.
- Bonfire
- And much more......


The event is from 11am to 4pm, $7 admission for adults, and kids 10 and under are free. The price includes a ticket for a raffled unique 4 foot carved bear. (you can buy extra raffle tickets for $2 a piece.

This is a great family event and will get you in the spirit of Thanksgiving through the eyes of the Native American Indians.

We will also be selling hotdogs and drinks as well as Ronnies famous vegitable chile and cornbread. So bring your appetite and join us for a great day!

--If the weather is Rainy the event will be held the 24th and 25th.--

CHAINSAW CARVING CLASS


Burt Fleming teaches hand carving at LSU and has developed into an outstanding Chainsaw carver. He will be teaching his second Chainsaw carving class at Stone Fence Gardens this year.
